The Youth Entrepreneur Scheme (YES) is an internationally acclaimed training curriculum aimed at providing enterprise and entrepreneurship skills for youth, including young girls.

Designed for 12 to 16 year olds, it empowers younger citizens to establish independent and sustainable means of accessing socioeconomic entitlements. YES also provides the latest technical business and vocational skills that enable learners to acquire a strong sense of commercial acumen.

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the dual principles of empowerment and education are at the core of YES.

YES has been offered in the following countries: South Africa, Zambia, Gambia, India, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania. The curriculum is available in English, Amharic, and Persian. In collaboration with Every1Mobile and Forward the curriculum has reached and changed the lives of more than seven million youth so far. To see a sample of our impact, please see: E1M smartFuture June 2014.

Plans are underway to offer YES as an EdTech start up. Watch this space for more news.
